Ingredients: -1 cup puffed rice (kurmura)/beaten rice(poha), 1
cup grated carrots, 1 cup finely chopped spring onions, ½ cup boiled green peas or
sprouts, 1 cup grated beet root, 1 cup finely chopped tomatoes, ¼ cup finely chopped
green chillies, ½ cup finely chopped coriander leaves, Juice of 1 lemon, ½ teaspoon
powdered sugar, salt to taste, yellow shev and coriander finely chopped for
decoration .
Preparation time : -20 to 30 minutes
HOW TO PREPARE: -Mix all the
ingredients in a large bowl, except for yellow shev and coriander, finely chopped,
for decoration. Serve in plates and decorate it with yellow shev and chopped
coriander.
Ingredients : -1cup grated sweet potato,1 or 2 green chillies
finely chopped,8 to 9 cashew nuts,1 teaspoon cumin seeds,2 tablespoons clarified
butter,4 tablespoons freshly grated coconut, 1 teaspoon sugar,Salt as per
taste.
Preparation time : -10 to 15 minutes
HOW TO PREPARE: -Heat clarified butter in
a pan. Then to it add cumin seeds and let it splutter for a while. To this then add
the green chillies and cashew nuts. Stir fry for a while. After this add the grated
sweet potato and sauté for a while. Now add to it 3 tablespoons of grated coconut,
sugar and some salt as per taste. Stir fry this till the sweet potato are cooked.
Serve hot by garnishing it with remaining grated coconut.
Ingredients :- 1 cup grated sweet potato, 1 tablespoon water
chestnut flour (Shingara flour), 1 teaspoon cumin seeds,1 green chilly finely
chopped,1 teaspoon sugar, Salt as per taste.
Preparation time : -10 to 15 minutes
HOW TO PREPARE : -Mix all the ingredients in bowl. If required add very
little water. The mixture should be as dough. Then heat a non-stick pan, put a small
quantity of pure ghee on it and place a small portion of the mixture on the pan.
Cover it with a lid. Wait for few minutes and as it starts browning turn it over on
the other side. Let it become brown on the other side too. Serve hot with curd.
