Prawns Pepper Fry

INGREDIENTS:

Prawns/ shrimp- 500 gms
Ginger-1 tsp, crushed
Garlic- 1 tsp, crushed
Pepper powder- 2 tsp
Kashmiri chilly powder- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
Salt- to taste
Vinegar- 1 tsp
Onion-1 large, thinly sliced
Curry leaves- 3 sprig
Green chilies- 3, sliced
Coconut oil- 2 tsp

HOW TO PREPARE:

Clean and devein prawns, wash the prawns in running water by rubbing salt. Drain out and set aside.Rub all the spice powder, lemon juice, ginger, garlic and salt along with the prawns and set aside for 10 mins.Heat a manchatti/ claypot along with marinated prawns, close it with a lid and allow it to cook in medium flame. No need to add water, prawns will leaves out it own water.Cook until the water fully absorbs and prawns turn dry. Off the flame and set aside.Heat a non stick pan with oil, add sliced onion, green chilies and curry leaves. Saute until onions turns soft and translucent.Add cooked prawns into it and combine well. Saute for 5-7 mins till it fry well.Serve hot along with rice.
