Kadai Mushroom


mushroom – 200 gm
capsicum (shimla mirch) – 1
onion (pyaj) – 2
tomato (tamatar) – 4
ginger (adrak) – 1 piece
garlic (lahsun) buds – 5-6
green chilly (hari mirch) – 2
salt – 1 tsp
red chilly powder (lal mirch) – 1/2 tsp
coriander powder (dhania) – 1 tsp
turmeric powder (haldi) – 1/4 tsp
spice blend (garam masala) – 1/2 tsp
clarified butter (ghee) – 4 tbsp


First of all cut mushrooms into slices.Now cut capsicum into cubes.After this finely chop onions & tomatoes.Now grind ginger, garlic and green chilies.It is time to heat ghee in a pan and fry onions in it till it turns pink.Now fry ginger paste for 1 minute.After this put tomatoes and fry till ghee separates.Now put salt, red chilly powder, coriander & turmeric powder.Now we have to add mushrooms and simmer after adding 1/4 cup water.Cook till mushrooms softens.After this cook capsicum in it for two to three minutes and remove it from the flame.Then sprinkle some spice blend.Finally, serve hot.
