Low calorie vegetable chutney | Simple Cauliflower pakoda | Paneer Rice

Ingredients: - Green Chillies-4, Garlic-2or 3 pods, Onion-1 medium, Tomato-1 medium, Capsicum-1 large, Grated Coconut-half cup, coriander leaves - a few, curry leaves - a few, channa dal- half cup, lemon, ginger - a small piece, little oil, salt to taste, mustard seeds-a teaspoonful, jeera- a teaspoonful, urad dal-a teaspoonful.

Preparation time : - About half an hour    

HOW TO PREPARE: -Cut all the vegetables, green chillies, ginger, garlic, curry leaves and coriander leaves into small pieces except capsicum. Cut capsicum separately and stir fry till it turns soft in order to remove its raw smell and keep it aside. Now stir fry channa dal in a little oil and keep it aside. Grind all the ingredients in a mixie adding little water till it forms a smooth paste. Grind it without salt. After grinding it into a paste, take a little oil and when it gets warm, add the mustard seeds, urad dal and jeera seeds, when it splutters, remove it and add it to the chutney and squeeze the juice of a lemon. The chutney is ready. It tastes well with dosa, vada, upma and idly.




Ingredients : - One big white fresh cauliflower, red chilli powder, besan, salt, oil for frying

Preparation time :- 15 minutes    

HOW TO PREPARE : - Cut the cauliflower in flowerettes, about one inch long. Wash them thoroughly. Add salt and red chilli powder and mix well. Keep it aside for ten minutes. Add dry besan till it sticks to the flowerettes. Heat oil. Deep fry till golden red. Serve hot with tomato sauce . Everyone loves them



Ingredients : - Tomato, Onion, Salt, Paneer(grated), Red Chilli powder,Garlic, Green chillies(sliced), Oil, Haldi powder, Garam MasalaPreparation

Preparation time : - 10-15mins    

HOW TO PREPARE : - Cook rice and Keep it separately. Heat Oil in a pan and after 2-3min add garlic,green chillies, onilon and fry them till light brown. Then add tomatoes and grated Paneer and mix them well for 2min. Then add Haldi, red chilli powder, Garam Masala and keep it for 5min. Then add the above mixture with rice and salt.Garnish it with Coriander leaves. Serve hot.
